Gloria Joyce DeLauter

Gloria Joyce DeLauter, 82, of Fort Collins, formerly of Casper, Wyo. died May 1 at Blue Grouse Health Care Center in Fort Collins.
She was born Oct. 21, 1925 in Salem, Mass. to Olaf and Lillian Langlee.
Gloria attended public school where she graduated in 1943. After the war ended in 1946 she met David J. DeLauter and the two were married in Cloquet, Minn. that same year. She and David were parents of four boys, David, Steven, Mark and Jeffrey. She was a homemaker in Minnesota before moving to Casper in 1961.
After moving to Casper, Gloria worked in women’s clothing while raising her family. In 1989 the couple retired and moved to La Luz, N.M. where they were active in traveling, bird watching and their senior center. David and Gloria moved to Fort Collins in 2001 to be near their children. In 2006 they celebrated their 60th anniversary.
She was preceded in death by her husband David and son Steven but is survived by one brother, James Langlee of Phoenix, Ariz, three sons; David DeLauter of Casper, Wyo. Mark DeLauter of Fort Collins and Jeffrey DeLauter of Dacono. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Cremation has been conducted. There will be a memorial service on May 10 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Gloria’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
