The Larimer County Democratic Party, in conjunction with the Democratic National Convention, is sponsoring two service projects during August.
The first is a county-wide non-perishable food drive to benefit the Larimer County Food Bank. Food will be accepted at Party Headquarters, 606 S. Mason in Fort Collins and 218 E. Sixth in Loveland, at the Obama Acceptance Speech Viewing party on August 28 from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Avogadro’s Number and on August 29 at the “Night After” barbecue and fundraiser at New Belgium Brewery’s Ox Bow.
The second project will occur all day August 27 in Windsor. Volunteers will help with tornado relief efforts.
