In its newest bid to market itself as a progressive and attractive community, Timnath is providing free wireless for all its Old Town residents and visitors. Further developments including municipal applications and public connectivity are planned for spring 2009.
"This is a very exciting time for the Town of Timnath, as we have been working diligently on this project for a long period of time. We look forward to working with Timnath residents as we grow this project," said Timnath Mayor Donna Benson in a press release.
The project is being aided by VT Aepco and NetLogix. The companies will provide engineering and customer services.
