National Nursing Home Week starts Sunday

Print Comment
The Bonell Community of the Good Samaritan Society will offer its residents professional photographs of them and their families to celebrate National Nursing Home Week.

The nursing home week -- which was founded by the American Health Care Association -- begins Sunday, Mother's Day. Activities during the week are meant to help residents remember their families. Each week, Bonell, 708 22nd St., will have a special activity reflecting this year's nursing home week theme "Focus on the Family."

Matt Rogers -- a professional photographer -- will take photographs of the residents.
